General Purpose Silicone

General purpose silicone fluids are commonly used to verify the calibration of Brookfield viscometers/rheometers and are less temperature-sensitive than mineral oils.

These silicone fluids, the standard for Brookfield instruments, are accurate to ±1% of viscosity value and provide excellent temperature stability. Certified by NIST methods, these Newtonian fluids offer reliable calibration. Typically, one or two fluids are sufficient to verify instrument calibration. All fluids come in ½ liter containers with a certificate of calibration.
